I know that's about 9 hours from where you live. I was just thinking since it's closer than Louisiana maybe you can request your local grocery store to order some for you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27694005.post-78098787265475966552015-10-22T00:31:53.547-05:002015-10-22T00:31:53.547-05:00Growing up we butchered our own hogs and made saus...Growing up we butchered our own hogs and made sausage. We purchased the casings from our local meat markets. They came in a vacuum sealed bag and we soaked them in salt water before packing/filling them. Grew up and still live in Southeast Texas. I did this for many many years with my paw. Wish he was still around making his famous sausage, haven't found one that comes close to his old school home made and smoked sausage.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27694005.post-19457116976462396822014-08-04T12:37:33.343-05:002014-08-04T12:37:33.343-05:00I like this recipe is it possible to use ground be...I like this recipe is it possible to use ground beef instead of pork?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08770120325687013999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27694005.post-60523749249642245182012-09-12T18:33:10.650-05:002012-09-12T18:33:10.650-05:00Thank you for the great recipe and instructional v...Thank you for the great recipe and instructional video on youTube. It is a good idea not to make the sausage balls too large. You want to get about 2 average size bites per ball. Hope this answers your question. One place you can find them is by contacting the "Meat Man". The link is in the left column of this blog under "Related Links".

Hope this helps.
