Old South Carrot Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups grated carrots

Combine eggs and oil and beat well. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into a well greased pan. Bake at 350°F. until done (when inserted toothpick comes out clean).
